Which Google banned an AdSense account?

There are many people who have been “banned by Google adsense” and totally lost at what to do next. This is mainly because all their income ranged only about google adsense.

If you have an AdSense publisher for a while, you must have certainly met people who complain about being kicked out of the AdSense program without reason. Although there are cases when the publisher may have been ended unfairly, there is also reason to believe that most of the account termination is carried out for reasons that are legitimate.

Google Adsense is a product that has made many people millionaires. In fact, Google Adsense may be the easiest way to “make some money blogging”.

Now, one of the darkest nightmare for anyone using Google Adsense (and which produces 100% of revenues online), is to receive a notice from Google stating that they “Google Adsense account has been banned” or disabled.

Generally, notices started out like this below

“It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the ads on your web page. We have disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interests of AdWords advertisers.”

Now, if your account has been banned by Google, what is the possibility of getting back? Very difficult, though few people are lucky to get the account back.

It is understandable that Google is very strict when it comes to fraud. It should be noted that the people who click their own online ads are not stealing from Google, they are stealing from advertisers who have placed ads with Google AdWords. So what is Google doing is protecting the interests of advertisers.

In addition, the age of the internet and everything, and Google’s automated response to any sincere and arguing emails from your side will be in vain. This is mainly because the answer really robotized.

So, play safe and try to report something suspicious to Google. In other words, if you see one of the following activities, Let inform to google:

  • If you see a suspicious click, let’s report to google.
  • If you accidentally click your own ads (it happens), let’s inform to google.
  • If your site suddenly appeared on Slashdot, Digg, or some high traffic sites, let’s report to google.
  • If you know something like press releases, reviews, etc. that will send a lot of road traffic, report to google.
  • If you are in doubt about anything, report it.

Below is a brief list of some ways you can get your Google Adsense account banned are:

  1. Click on Google ads at your site . Sure, accidents happen. If you accidentally click on your ad, please contact Google Adsense immediately and let them know what happened.
  2. Put Google Adsense on the website that has questionable content or banned as Hacker, Warez, Porn, Drugs and Gambling sites.
  3. Displaying Adsense ads on Registration or “Thank You” page.
  4. Adhesives relevant image ads beside your Adsense blocks. For example, to deceive people click on your ads by placing the phone picture alongside a block of Adsense ads mobile phone.
  5. Registering with multiple accounts. I am just going to say it is possible to have some legitimate accounts.
  6. Register your account after you have been blocked.
  7. Join in the “Adsense Click Ring”. This is a group of people who click on ads other members. Google was smart enough to think about this folks!
  8. Placing Google Adsense on the other Pop Ups still make pop up when users try to close them. This got a lot of Adsense Account holders. This raises the “level of the impression” that ruins your data that Google uses. The best thing to do is to not put them in a pop up anyway. Google also did not want their ads on Pop under.
  9. Request people to click your ads. Google says not to do it, so do not. Sort like that. I’ve seen the video and other forms of advertising where people are asked to click on their ads. This will makes you banned!
  10. The proposal click through rates, revenue per click and impressions. Adsense TOS say not to do so.
  11. Using automation malicious software such as ‘bots’ to click on your ad. Once again, do not take a rocket scientist to know this is bad.
  12. Placing Adsense on pages with no content. Some people will stand with nothing but ads on their pages.
  13. Employing overseas workers to click on your ad. There are companies / individuals who do nothing but click on the Adsense ads.
  14. Making content on websites just for Adsense. Google started to crack really down on Web sites created just for Adsense.
  15. Placing Adsense ads on Hate website.
  16. Placing Adsense on websites that promote arms & ammunition, beer or hard alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs, a violation of copyright content, clothing or artificial objects and sites that distribute papers or essays.
  17. The use of excessive profanity words. I am not sure who decides what is “excessive” is, however, Google Adsense will ban for this!

I see many people complain about getting banned of Adsense, and some wondered if it was common practice. Google wants a partner for a long time and if you try to stay within the guidelines you should not have a problem.

If you get banned by Adsense, it is worth appealing. If you do not take fraud, you can get your account reactivated and restored funding. But don’t do something stupid.

Don’t worry about it too much if your Google Adsense Account gets banned. I found a website a while back that made a new account for me in about 24 hours. It cost me $15 which is nothing when you know the kind of money you can make with Google Adsense.

  4. Anna says:

Interesting but you don’t actually say how to appeal. There is nothing on Google that allows you to appeal, there is zero contact information so for people that have been banned it is very difficult to state your case…or make the changes and be given another chance. Never known a company like it….

Hi Anna, thanks for the input for me.
I have long wanted it, but because of something until now this blog is not touched by me. Once again thanks for your good idea, I’ll realize it soon.

Google should make AdSense a better program so that people can get paid in peace. Simple as that. I don’t use Google AdSense on my blogs. Only with a writing program. If I have to worry about too many things, I don’t bother.
