Pay To Action Adsense – A Fundamental Adsense Problem

If you read this, you probably know what Adsense is and who use them. If not, this is a program where Google allows sites to place ads from the AdWords program on their site. When a visitor clicks on one ad on your site, you get a discount offer from Google. This is a simple program was produce a significant amount of income.

Google now a new beta version of Adsense’s called paying for the action. While Google does not provide a lot of information, this program appears to be an attempt to convert into one giant Adsense program affiliation. Instead of paying publishers for clicks on ads, the program will only pay a commission if someone clicks on one an ad on your site and take relevant action on the advertiser’s site. In this case, it seems acts buy what’s on offer or a clue. In exchange for the murder aspect of Adsense clicks income, you seem to get cut any commission revenue generated by the advertisers of your traffic.

Here are some problems with the adsense program with this approach. First, Google does not provide an explanation of how it will accounts for the site that lists phone numbers for reservations, the methods used by customers that Google is not able wish to track. Second, Google does not indicate how the revenue will be generated from the site offers services such as lawyers, doctors and so on. Most of people click through to these sites will call or e-mail business, which makes tracking a very difficult game. Admittedly, this program in the test beta, so Google can come up with solutions to all these problems. But there are, the more fundamental problem.

All indications are advertisers will be able to use the platform for free and only pay a commission to Google that separated us, the publisher. If so, what motivation does the advertiser to improve their site? What motivation does the advertiser has to satisfy the customer? If I can think honestly, the answer is very little. Yes, they want to get more sales, but what they really care if they get a lot of free traffic?

If I said I would send 100,000 visitors per day and you have to pay me commission only sales, how much will you work to improve this site? Honest. Maybe you’ll practice for a month or more, but after that human nature will take over. We all know the sites out there that have not been touched during the many years because they have so much to produce tons of affiliate traffic they can pay back and collecting cash.

I fully understand that Google is hard to deal with click fraud, click bots and so on. Might pay for the program of action will be a solution when finally completed. Maybe it will be the biggest since, well, Google. My experience, however, is that most of the best affiliate programs vulnerable, if not I will they are not promoting Adsense!

Once again, it is early to draw conclusions about Google’s move, but people with Adsense ads on your site they should pay attention. This is a fundamental change that explains the risks and benefits of Adsense program. I’m sure Yahoo is salivating about the prospects for the Publisher Network when Google went ahead. In Personally, I plan to stay with Adsense since it was offered, but I doubt it. If I want to partner with other sites, I’ll do it for a long time.
